I prefer thoughtful plans, good taste, and a little space for the unexpected. I like new perspectives, flexible plans, and the freedom to change direction. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. I like people who can be themselves without narrating the process. I like the moment a sensible evening develops a better idea. A good beginning gives me freedom rather than rules. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. That is probably enough of an introduction. The rest is better discovered in person. I like leaving some room around the plan. A little character goes a long way with me.
