Sometimes the nicest evenings begin simply and become memorable almost by accident. I pay attention to presentation without making it a performance; comfort and character matter more than perfection. I like knowing where an evening begins, then leaving space for the best part to happen by accident. I notice chemistry in small things—tone, timing, and the way two people settle beside each other. I tend to remember the small details people mention and return to them when the timing feels right. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. I’m organised enough to create ease and spontaneous enough to follow a better offer. I like leaving a little room for the person I meet to add something unexpected. I like leaving some room around the plan. The atmosphere should support the people in it.
