I take playlists slightly more seriously than the situation probably requires, which is one of my harmless habits. I’m drawn to calm rooms, good books, and conversations that arrive slowly. I enjoy a considered look and a relaxed manner, especially when neither one does all the talking. I prefer a little breathing room in the schedule; rushing hides the interesting parts. I bring a soft energy, with enough independence to keep it from feeling careful.
