If we meet, bring your real conversation; I’m much more interested in that than a perfect performance. I can hold my own in a conversation without needing to dominate it. I enjoy a little mischief in conversation, especially when nobody is trying to look clever. I pay attention to presentation without making it a performance; comfort and character matter more than perfection. I prefer a few good things to a crowded list: comfort, company, and a little quiet. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. I prefer a simple plan, clearly made, with empty space around it. What matters most is the atmosphere we create together: attentive, unhurried, and quietly alive.
