If we meet, bring your real conversation; I’m much more interested in that than a perfect performance. I prefer a few good things to a crowded list: comfort, company, and a little quiet. I prefer a simple plan, clearly made, with empty space around it. I bring a lightness to things and usually find a reason to be curious. People often relax around me because I do not hurry to fill every silence. I feel most comfortable when the energy is warm, the conversation is mutual, and nobody is rushing. I like leaving a little room for the person I meet to add something unexpected. I have a soft spot for places that make people stay longer than planned. I notice when a place feels personally chosen. A little character goes a long way with me.
