I should probably admit that I can turn choosing a restaurant into a small research project, then change my mind. There is something lovely about an evening with music, conversation, and no pressure to keep moving. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. I prefer plans that feel comfortable and considered, without turning into a production. I’m interested in how people think and what sits behind their usual answers. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself.
