I prefer thoughtful plans, good taste, and a little space for the unexpected. I like good company, sensible plans, and the freedom to laugh when details change. I enjoy an active rhythm, then a good meal and enough time to talk properly. I’m comfortable with my own company, so sharing an evening feels like a choice. A plan is useful, but I’m not attached to it once a better idea appears. A little light, music, and texture can change the whole feeling of a room. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. The best encounters gather detail, warmth, and meaning almost without asking to be noticed. The atmosphere should support the people in it. I notice when a place feels personally chosen. A little character goes a long way with me. That sort of ease is hard to fake.
