I’ve noticed that I connect best with people who do not need to fill every pause. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. I notice cut, colour, texture, and the ease that keeps style from becoming display. I like beautiful details, provided the people remain more interesting than the setting. I listen carefully, think before I speak, and still leave room for a good impulse. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue.
