My favourite evenings begin without a rush: something good to eat, a little music, and a conversation with its own rhythm. I prefer quiet confidence to a polished performance. A quieter setting suits me: a considered meal, a walk, and time to notice what is beneath the obvious. I tend to notice the best corner of a room before I notice where everyone else has sat down. For me. the best meeting is warm. unforced. and memorable for the right reasons. I’m good at slowing a moment down without making it feel heavy.
