My favourite evenings begin without a rush: something good to eat, a little music, and a conversation with its own rhythm. I still get excited by a new place, a funny idea, or a plan that changes at the right moment. I’m happiest when there is a plan for the beginning and freedom to ignore it later. I like a well-chosen table, a gallery, or a new corner of town with more to discover. I like a clear starting point, but I’m always open to a worthwhile detour. I’m drawn to restraint, good materials, and details that reveal care without asking for attention.
