My small weakness is a beautifully set table, even when the plan was meant to be completely casual. Good food, a well-set table, and an interesting exchange are simple pleasures I take seriously. I enjoy a considered look and a relaxed manner, especially when neither one does all the talking. I’m happy to organise the details and let the human part take over.
