What do I enjoy most when meeting someone? The moment small talk gives way to something real. I bring a gentle energy, though I’m not as delicate as I may seem at first. I’m drawn to calm rooms, good books, and conversations that arrive slowly. I’m quite good at looking composed while quietly deciding what we should order. I’m drawn to encounters that feel considered without becoming constructed, with enough grace for something genuine to appear. I’m happiest when there is a plan for the beginning and freedom to ignore it later. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. A calm beginning helps me settle in, after which the conversation can take its time.
