My favourite evenings begin without a rush: something good to eat, a little music, and a conversation with its own rhythm. I like directness with warmth. honesty is easier to enjoy that way. I like meetings that feel attentive without becoming intense, with space for both people to settle in. I like places with texture. perfection is less interesting than a little character. I like a little life around me and conversations that keep moving naturally. I like a loose outline and room for an idea to change the mood. I like leaving a little room for the person I meet to add something unexpected. I’m usually calm, although I have opinions about badly timed interruptions. A little character goes a long way with me. That sort of ease is hard to fake.
