I appreciate beautiful details, though I’m not interested in making life feel overly arranged. I know what suits me. and I’m comfortable saying so without turning it into a speech. I like people with direction and a sense of proportion. I’m quite good at looking composed while quietly deciding what we should order. A change of scenery helps me reset. even when the destination is only a different neighbourhood. I like an idea in mind and enough flexibility to follow whatever looks worth stopping for. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. Ultimately. I’m looking for ease. interest. and the feeling that the evening was time well spent. Good timing usually matters more than decoration. That sort of ease is hard to fake.
