I like the feeling of a room settling around two people who are no longer trying to impress each other. A loose plan makes me comfortable; a better idea is always welcome. I pay attention to presentation without making it a performance; comfort and character matter more than perfection. I’m drawn to texture, unusual perspectives, and anything with a little character. I listen carefully, think before I speak, and still leave room for a good impulse. I’m organised enough to create ease and spontaneous enough to follow a better offer. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. The best encounters gather detail, warmth, and meaning almost without asking to be noticed.
