I like the feeling of a room settling around two people who are no longer trying to impress each other. I tend to remember the small details people mention and return to them when the timing feels right. I enjoy a thoughtful subject, especially when it still leaves room for humour. I notice style, but I’m more interested in the ease and confidence that make it personal. I enjoy chemistry, direct eye contact, and the playful confidence of a good mood. The best atmosphere lets a pause feel natural and a change of subject feel welcome. A clear beginning is attractive; so is the confidence to see where the mood goes. I’m not sure a paragraph can say much more; a good conversation usually does the job better. A little character goes a long way with me.
