My days work best when they have a little movement, a little beauty, and one unplanned pocket of time. I enjoy small gestures, beautiful surroundings, and the warm anticipation before a good evening. I enjoy a considered look and a relaxed manner, especially when neither one does all the talking. I enjoy an active rhythm, then a good meal and enough time to talk properly. I tend to remember the small details people mention and return to them when the timing feels right. I enjoy a thoughtful beginning and the freedom to let the mood decide the rest. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. What matters most is the atmosphere we create together: attentive, unhurried, and quietly alive. The atmosphere should support the people in it. That sort of ease is hard to fake.
