Give me an unhurried table, a cold drink, and someone who knows how to enjoy the moment. An evening feels best when there is warmth around the table and enough variety to keep it moving. I like getting ready with a sense of occasion, but never to the point where it feels like work. A good plan gives the evening momentum; the people decide where it goes next. I prefer chemistry that is felt rather than announced. I appreciate confidence that knows how to soften and curiosity that does not feel like an interrogation. For me, the best meeting is warm, unforced, and memorable for the right reasons. I can make a simple decision sound like a discussion, mostly because I enjoy the discussion.
