Give me a good table, an interesting person, and enough time for the evening to develop without instructions. I like knowing where an evening begins. then leaving space for the best part to happen by accident. I’m organised enough to create ease and spontaneous enough to follow a better offer. I like people who can be themselves without narrating the process. I notice tone. proximity. and the small shift when a conversation becomes more personal. For me, comfort comes from good manners, a little laughter, and an evening that can take care of itself. Ultimately, I’m looking for ease, interest, and the feeling that the evening was time well spent.
