I take playlists slightly more seriously than the situation probably requires, which is one of my harmless habits. I like rituals, but I also enjoy breaking one for a good reason. I enjoy a little mischief in conversation, especially when nobody is trying to look clever. I’m gentle in the way I speak and attentive to the atmosphere between people. I like a well-chosen table, a gallery, or a new corner of town with more to discover. I like a clear starting point, but I’m always open to a worthwhile detour. Ultimately, I’m looking for ease, interest, and the feeling that the evening was time well spent.
