About Liya

The right atmosphere matters to me, usually before either person has said very much at all. I enjoy a little mischief in conversation, especially when nobody is trying to look clever. I like a well-chosen table, a gallery, or a new corner of town with more to discover. I like rituals, but I also enjoy breaking one for a good reason. The rest is simple: good energy, mutual respect, and a reason to stay for one more conversation. I enjoy being out in the world, although the person beside me still matters most. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. I know enough to feel comfortable and not so much that the evening has nowhere left to go.
