I’ve noticed that I connect best with people who do not need to fill every pause. I’m quite good at looking composed while quietly deciding what we should order. I enjoy a little mischief in conversation, especially when nobody is trying to look clever. I prefer chemistry that is felt rather than announced. A change of scenery helps me reset, even when the destination is only a different neighbourhood. Spontaneity is best with a comfortable beginning and a little curiosity behind it. The best encounters gather detail, warmth, and meaning almost without asking to be noticed. I appreciate confidence that knows how to soften and curiosity that does not feel like an interrogation. The atmosphere should support the people in it. That sort of ease is hard to fake. A little character goes a long way with me.
