About Alena

Some of the best conversations begin quietly, without either person trying too hard to make an impression. I do not give everything away at once, but I’m never difficult to find in a real conversation. I notice tone, proximity, and the small shift when a conversation becomes more personal. I enjoy people who can move from a serious subject to a ridiculous one without losing the thread. I’m happy to make a plan and happier when it becomes a joke we keep repeating. A relaxed tone makes room for charm, honesty, and the parts of a person that do not arrive on cue. I’m not sure a paragraph can say much more; a good conversation usually does the job better. I notice when a place feels personally chosen. A little character goes a long way with me.
